The test drive concept is great. It made the decision really easy for us to try it out with almost no risk.

The solution was everything and more than what we were expecting. It is really flexible and should be able to meet our needs for a long time to come.

The installation process was really quick and easy. The system was ready to run before we even started using it. 

 

  1. Was the switch over to the MetroCentrex PBX seamless and smooth?

The switch to MetroCentrex PBX was effortless. The hardest thing we had to do was to phone our previous phone provider and cancel one of our lines. 

 

  1. What changes did you need to make to your existing phone service?

We cancelled one of our two existing lines and ported over our toll free number. The porting process was all taken care of by MetroCentrex and was as easy as signing a piece of paper. 

 

  1. What key features were you looking for in a phone system for your business?

The ability to appear bigger than we are and to be able to have a phone system that could be forwarded from one central number. 

 

  1. Was long distance an important consideration when choosing a pbx solution for your company?

No. 

 

  1. What are the 2 most valuable features provided by the MetroCentrex PBX service? ( You can list more in the order of preference if you have more. Eg Autoattendant, Voicemail boxes, call forward to cellphone, call history email, voicemail to email)

Auto-attendant, Call forwarding to cell-phone.

 

 
  1. Was this your first phone system? What did you have prior to signing up for the MetroCentrex PBX Service?

Yes. We just had two regular phone lines. 

 

  1. On a scale of 1 to 10 , how easy was it to use the MetroCentrex PBX Service? How much training time did you need?

It was very easy a 9 or 10. It required almost no training just a simple explanation of how to work things. 

 

  1. What is your experience with VOIP or IP PBX phone systems in the past? Any friend or family that has used a VOIP business phone system ?

VOIP has had bad phone quality from what I have experienced from friends with VOIP phones. 

 

  1. Would you classify the MetroCentrex PBX Service as another VOIP solution?

No Metrocentrex doesn’t feel or sound like VOIP. Its more of an office phone system solution.   
  1. Other than the operator phone, would anybody have guessed that this is a Virtual/Hosted PBX Solution?
No. 

 

  1. How do you rate the call quality when using this system?

Excellent. No noticeable difference between this system and regular phone lines.

 
  1. At Metrocentrex, our focus is to provide an incoming call solution.Keeping this in mind, would you rate this solution as a NO HARDWARE, NO SOFTWARE, NO VOIP SOLUTION? 
Yes. We don’t have any hardware besides the phones, we don’t deal with any of the software, and its like having a regular phone line. 

 

  1. On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate your overall phone system functionality before MetroCentrex PBX and after.
6 before and a 9 after.
